The infrastructure is real and it runs deep — brand systems, publication pipelines, editorial philosophy baked into every draft. Now we want to let you see a little further ahead.

Not everything. Some of these projects live years out, and we believe in building anticipation slowly and honestly. But enough. Enough to show you what kind of press Ink & Aether Studios is becoming — and to explain why the combination of genres and voices and worlds we're building matters.

We didn't set out to be a press that publishes one kind of story. We set out to be a creative home.

That distinction shapes everything. A press with a narrow brand publishes variations on a single theme. A creative home holds writers with different voices and different visions, and finds the connective tissue between them — not in genre, but in quality, in intention, in the kind of reader it attracts.

Our readers are genre lovers with range. They read across categories. They follow authors, not aisles. They want escapism with substance: found family, complex characters, lush atmospheres, emotional arcs that don't resolve cheaply. The press we're building is calibrated for exactly that reader.

J.P. White began with cozy gothic mystery, and the Vale & Stone series isn't going anywhere — there's a full world in Blackvale still to excavate. But her vision extends further than the Blue Ridge Mountains.

On the horizon: a psychological thriller that lives in daylight. The kind of story where something has quietly rearranged your life while you weren't looking. Quiet dread that doesn't announce itself. The horror is the slow realization.

And a historical mystery suspense-thriller threading history, artifacts, buried identity, and old mysteries bleeding into the present through dangerous attraction and unanswered questions. The details stay close to the chest for now. What we can say: the setting will feel like a place you can smell. The stakes will be real. And the atmosphere will do its work — the way it always does in J.P.'s hands.

Jade Black: The Stakes Get Higher

Jade Black's current work is rooted in contemporary romance — and she's not leaving that behind. But the catalog she's building extends in two directions that make us genuinely excited about what's coming.

A romantic suspense series built around a central premise that has stayed with us since the day it arrived: history was stolen. She's taking it back. The details will unfold over time, but this one has been in development at the level of a premise we can't stop thinking about.

And an epic romance fantasy series with the full weight of what that description implies — political intrigue, magic and mysticism, power and identity threaded through relationships that involve real emotional gut punches. Indigo Winter: Worlds That Operate at Scale

Indigo Winter launches in 2027, and she's arriving with range.

The foundation is already laid: three aesthetic lanes, a speculative fiction vision that spans cyberpunk Art Deco futures to neo-Egyptian solarpunk mythology to celestial academia. What's ahead extends that scale further.

A dimensional warfare thriller series in Sci-Fantasy territory — secret societies, fracture points between realities, stakes that operate at the level of what it means for a world to survive. The kind of series that makes you recalibrate what the genre is capable of.

And a space opera following five siblings and their crew across a galaxy full of political intrigue, hidden secrets, and perilous battles. Found family at an operatic scale. Sibling dynamics that hit harder than most. The kind of story that earns the word saga.
