1. Purpose of Provision

Ink & Aether Studios ("the Publisher") provides Advance Review Copies (ARCs) to selected readers for the purpose of editorial consideration and honest review. Receipt of a digital proof does not constitute a contract for a positive review.

2. Intellectual Property & Security

By accepting this digital proof, the Reviewer agrees to the following:

• Non-Distribution: The digital file is for the Reviewer’s personal use only. You may not share, email, or upload this file to any third-party websites, including "book swapping" sites or public forums.

• AI Training Prohibition: This work is the intellectual property of the Author and Publisher. The Reviewer is strictly prohibited from uploading any portion of this text into Generative AI models or Large Language Models (LLMs) for any purpose, including summarization or analysis.

• Anti-Piracy: All files delivered via BookFunnel may be digitally watermarked with the Reviewer’s information to trace unauthorized distribution.

3. Disclosure Requirements (FTC Compliance)

In accordance with consumer protection laws, the Reviewer must include a clear disclosure in any public review (Amazon, Goodreads, StoryGraph, Social Media) stating that they received a free copy of the book.

Example: "I received a complimentary digital proof from Ink & Aether Studios in exchange for an honest review."

4. Timing and Placement

• Release Window: We request that reviews be posted within 7 days of the official publication date.

• Platform Priority: While reviews are encouraged on all platforms, the Publisher prioritizes placement on Amazon and Goodreads.

5. Editorial Independence

Ink & Aether Studios values the integrity of the book community. We encourage honest, thoughtful feedback. A critical review will not automatically disqualify a reviewer from future opportunities with the Press; however, failure to post a review or a pattern of unprofessional conduct may result in removal from the Press’s active reviewer list.
